Our typical client is a private company with one, or just a couple, of owners, is at least somewhat established in its field, is operating in a market where success is possible, and is just not living up to its potential in some or many of the criteria we believe are essential to having an Exceptional Business.

Just about as important, we do what we do because we really like and respect small business people (Remember, one of our key concepts is that we deal with people we like), the brave and self-reliant folks who have the gumption to separate themselves from the paycheck first crowd by taking a leap into the unknown. We think the people who start and grow their own business, whether it be a humble (but Exceptional!) one-person operation or something that turns into a global business powerhouse, generally have more creativity, more smarts, more insight, and more initiative than most, and we just love working with them.
